still sick

Still sick, although much better with antibiotics.  I did get the red quilt completely basted, now it just needs two sections machine quilted.  Then finally the binding.  So near and yet so far…

 

I have some really neat photos of a small quilt I made for my mom, almost a fabric collage really and a fabric postcard for Jan.  They both turned out awesome.  My mom’s was my favorite because I really could embellish it to death since it didn’t need to go through the mail.  I will get them up here soon.

 

I got some fabric out to make a new purse. My purse is lovely, but well-worn.  I want to get this quilt done first, although.

 

Yay, Obama!  I’m still a little emotional about the election.  Change is here!
